Passion for knowledge is also Passion for life, Passion for nature and environment which, in a city like San Sebastian, necessarily entails a Passion for the sea.
In collaboration with the Aquarium Donostia – San Sebastian, an exciting program of sea-related activities has been designed with particular emphasis on the specific lines of research developed in the Aquarium.

| The Passion for the Sea conferences will feature world-leading sea-researchers, who are also regular collaborators with the Aquarium. The speakers will transmit their passion for the sea and some of the challenges faced in their research activity, using a non-technical language to reach all audiences.
Invited speakers are: • Charles A. Farwell The conferences will be held at the Auditorium inside the Aquarium, with free entry, subject to room availability. |

| 25-26 SEPT. Documentaries Showing |

Over the last weekend in September, a series of documentaries on nature and sea-life will be screened at the Aquarium Auditory. With free entry, the films are open to all the family and will include some of the outstanding documentaries from the Submarine Cinema Festival and from other cinema contests on nature. |

| 30 SEPT. Aquarium Encounter |

Sylvia Earle and Ada Yonath will encounter secondary science students and teachers. During this encounter, the researchers will talk about their passion for knowledge and will reply to any questions from the students with regard to their work and life experience. |
